John is responsible for the technical supervision of Betlem’s commercial service technicians and apprentices in Upstate and Central New York. He helps to improve the technicians’ ability, skills, and performance by providing training and coaching, and fostering productivity. One of John’s top priorities is to assure that every service call is handled professionally, and that customer satisfaction is always achieved. 

To strategically grow Betlem’s service department, John is responsible for hiring knowledgeable service technicians who offer a broad range of HVAC and refrigeration specialties. 

Additionally, John manages the operations team including service contracts, dispatch, and key account managers. He provides contract solutions for customers with firm budgets. John also assists the account management team with emergency service repair budgets for customers with short shutdown timeframes due to manufacturing commitments or perishable food loss. 

Expertise

Bringing over 17 years of experience, John began his career in the HVAC and refrigeration industry in 2004. He entered the trade as a service technician, and after a decade, moved into field service management. In 2017, John was promoted from Field Manager to Service Manager where he cultivated a commercial service division. John joined the EMCOR Services Betlem team in 2021.

He has the expertise to service and design unitary and industrial systems including heat pumps, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration systems, and holds an EPA certification in refrigeration.
