Rick is responsible for the development and management of work safety practices, fleet safety, and safety training programs. He works directly with field and office staff to help our operations achieve industry-leading safety metrics.   

Rick focuses on finding practical and productive solutions for mitigating workplace hazards. By empowering our employees, he helps them make decisions that put the health and wellbeing of themselves, their coworkers, and our customers first. 

Every year our fleet travels millions of miles, and Rick’s management helps ensure that preventive vehicle maintenance and driver safety are our top priorities. In all his work, Rick strives to put the safety of our employees at the core of everything we do. 

Expertise

Rick has over eight years of experience in construction, HVAC, and manufacturing safety. He has been a part of our team since 2019.

Before joining the industry, he was a flight instructor, where he built a passion for instilling safety habits, policies, and procedures. This experience also helped him develop rigorous standards for protecting individuals with an eye towards continuous improvement and innovation. 

Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation technology from Purdue University and a master’s degree in sustainable engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
