Leading both the engineering and construction teams for Betlem, Bill supports all operating divisions. He helps ensure that projects are executed with high quality from conception to final implementation.
His team has not only designed unique solutions for customers, but also learned to leverage incentive programs that have helped our customers to implement value-added concepts with minimal cost impact. Bill and his team work collaboratively and are experts at turning concepts into actionable projects.
Additionally, Bill participates in EMCOR Group’s national construction and energy peer groups where he shares best practices with sister companies across the country.
With vast industry experience, Bill’s expertise includes mechanical engineering, energy engineering, installation and maintenance of HVAC systems, and construction management. He spent several years developing and executing multi-million-dollar projects in the commercial and industrial sector around the world, including projects throughout the United States, Canada, and Brazil.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University and a master’s in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in New York and Certified Energy Manager.
An active participant in the industry, Bill is a member of ASHRAE, the Association of Energy Engineers, and the Rochester Gas and Electric and New York State Gas and Electric Trade Ally Advisory Committee. Additionally, he enjoys serving on the Buildings and Grounds committee for the Rochester Museum and Science Center and as a Judge for the Society for Industrial and Systems Engineering Capstone Conference at West Point.
While not at work, Bill enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with his four children. He is involved with many of his children’s activities outside of school but spends most of his free time on the lake, downhill skiing, and hunting.
